UTC & BU host successful CEO regional conferences!

SEEC, the Southeast Entrepreneurship Conference and BUNEEC, pronounced “Be-Unique” an acronym for Bryant University Northeast Entrepreneurship Conference were held in the first weekend of March, 2017. 

CEO hosts regional events designed to help students that are unable to travel to the national conference held each Fall Semester.  The regionals are intended to resemble identical makeup of the national conference, usually featuring a pitch competition, about 25 speakers and nearly 250 attendees. 

The 2017 SEEC and BUNEEC Conferences combined featured over 600 attendees in attendance for a two-day event – featuring a pitch competition and over 35 renowned speakers.  

 According to Jacob Zimmer ’19 – one theme of the conference was innovation.  Jacob served as the BUNEEC Conference Director. 

“Bryant really prides itself on being an innovative place to learn,” Zimmer said. “We hope that everyone who attended the conference continues to push the status quo and continues to problem-solve to find new ideas.”
